Mikat Constructions Pty Ltd was established as a small company in 1995 and has gone on to complete in excess of $80m in construction projects across the entire construction spectrum. Employing 9 full time staff and multiple sub-contractors. Mikat has grown to become one of Brisbane’s most reputable boutique construction companies.
From refined classic opulence through to cutting edge contemporary, Mikat create stunning buildings for their clients with unrivalled reputation for delivering projects on time, on budget and with an exceptional eye for detail.

MICHAEL ARVANITAGIS
DIRECTOR
Michael Arvanitagis Director/Estimator holding an Open Builders License and with over 30 years’ experience, our principal has an outstanding record of delivering high quality outcomes whilst maintaining a perfect safety record at all times.
As the owner and director, Michael continuously strives for perfection and leads by example. As a carpenter by trade Michael sets the bar high for his employees and contractors alike. Michael’s motto is, “If I won’t have it in my house, then you don’t do it here”. This high standard is consistently reflected in the quality buildings Mikat produce.
Salvatore Vecchio
PROJECT MANAGER / CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR
Salvatore holds a Bachelor in Quantity Surveying, Diploma in Project Management & a QBCC Open Builder’s Licence, with the addition of over 20 Years’ experience in Site Management, Project Management, Contract Administration & Estimating ranging from Retail, Food & Beverage, Commercial, Fitouts, Residential & High Rise Sectors, enables Salvatore to accurately analyse, compile, manage, communicate and value engineer to the overall project value in line with the projects budget & design intent.
KATINA ARVANITAGIS
OFFICE MANAGER
The Office Manager, Katina handles all site support including procurement, accounts, and day to day management of the business. She is involved in site acquisitions for Mikat developments and works closely with a wide range of consultants across the entire lifecycle of all Mikat developments.
GARRY BOWLES
ESTIMATOR
Having over 15 Years’ experience in these roles, and coupled with a lifelong career within many sectors of the construction industry, enables Garry to accurately analyse, compile and value add to the overall project value in line with the projects budget.
