Beachmere House, was designed to take advantage of the natural aspect of where it is sited. With the clients having lived on the site in the small holiday house that still remains there for two years prior to construction, they new exactly what their new house would have to be.

The time that was spent living there also allowed them to experience the harsh environment they would be building to; therefore, extreme care was taken with selection of fixtures and fittings to allow longevity. From the Colourbond Ultra Roofing, Stainless Steel Box Gutters, Stainless Steel Balustrade Posts through to Light Fittings and Appliances.

 This three storey House consists of 4 bedrooms, Theatre Room, Study, 4 bathrooms 3 with Spas, 2 Double Garages, 2 Single Garages, Heated Pool, Entertainment Area, Dumb Waiter and Spacious Voids.

 The House is of open plan living with lots of wide open spaces opening to outdoor balcony and pool areas. The kitchen and entertainment area open onto a balcony that overlooks the pool via frameless automatic glass doors which give an unobstructed opening of   4.5m. The Main Bedroom’s Juliet Balcony also overlooks the kitchen and entertainment areas with uninterrupted views through the silicone glazed glass front. The Clients cannot believe how cool it is in summer and how warm they can make the place in winter. During construction they were contemplating installing Air Conditioners but after having lived in the home they believe they never will.

 The most greenest smart feature of this house is the eight 22500l water tanks that have been installed. From the day the clients moved into the house they have not used 1l of town water. The eight tanks are approximately ¾ full and the clients have three spas in the house which they say are used at least twice a week. Apart from washing, showering, flushing toilets and the laundry they also water about 150 plants at least twice a week, top up the pool and wash their cars all of the tank water
